Estoril Race Results

Estoril Race
Estoril race results this week, very monotonous, is not the case an exciting spectacle, and the predictions of some observers motogp, if the race is in progress, has been identified to take place is not interesting, but in terms of the quality of the drivers who are so strong, in the event qualification is not occur in the actual race, team HRC, to be the best in Estoril, as well, with the yamaha team that has not been a perfect show acceleration, shown in the corner when opening the gas to the Sprin on straight tracks, look no change, perporma according to my analysis, as motogp loyal audience, whether Paktor of the drivers or from the machine, maybe it's a question that became an answer to the yamaha team, in contrast with results that do ducati racer team, which he said little progress, and rossi had said if the Estoril race is an advancement.

Spies holds off Stoner and Edwards

A clear and sunny day opened the first practice session for the premier class upon their return to the United States, with a newly paved track welcoming them to the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix weekend. While lap times would be expected to be quicker thanks to the resurfacing, it seems the track was slightly dirty and still needs a bit more rubber the help with the grip.
Last year’s pole man and second place race finisher Ben Spies (Yamaha Factory Racing) took the top spot with 18 minutes remaining, after progressing through the ranks at the beginning of the session to post a final time of 1’43.260.
Casey Stoner (Repsol Honda) had moved into the lead with a minute and half remaining with a lap of 1'43.552, but it wasn’t enough to hold off Spies, and the Australian finished the session sandwiched between two Americans on Yamaha’s when Colin Edwards (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) stepped into third with a time of 1’43.574.
San Carlo Honda Gresini rider Marco Simoncelli is fresh off his first premier class podium in Brno and full of confidence. The rider’s time of 1’43.582 put him fourth in the timings, but the Italian had led much of the practice session.
Nicky Hayden (Ducati Team) was the third American in the top five times, his lap of 1’44.236 was 0.126s ahead of his team mate Valentino Rossi. Andrea Dovizioso (Repsol Honda) was sixth fastest with a time of 1’44.551, followed by Mapfre Aspar rider Héctor Barberá and Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) in ninth.
Last year’s Indianapolis race winner Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) placed tenth in the session with a time of 1’45.192 after entering his box several times in the practice.
MotoGP rookie Karel Abraham (Cardion ab Motoracing) had an issue with his machine on the first lap, the Czech rider was able to rejoin the session but had another mechanical problem and retired to his box in the remaining 5 minutes.

Lorenzo motogp,America redbulls

Lorenzo sealed his place at the head of the pack on his final lap of qualifying as he posted a best circuit of one minute 21.202 seconds in scorching conditions.
Championship leader Casey Stoner also left it late before he snatched second place, 0.072secs behind Lorenzo, with the Australian's Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa third on the grid.
The home fans in California were given reason for cheer as Ben Spies claimed fourth place, although it may have been better for the American after he was unable to return after crashing out with five minutes left in the session.
Lorenzo's high-speed spill in this morning's final practice session was more spectacular though, as he was launched into the air and across the gravel.
The 24-year-old was somehow unhurt and then displayed his champion-quality as he shook off the setback to clinch pole and continue to pile the pressure on Stoner.
The Australian has seen his championship lead reduced to 15 points by Lorenzo after the Spaniard has beaten him in the past two rounds and Lorenzo will fancy his chances of eating further into that gap after his performances so far this week.
Further back in the field, the Italian trio of Marco Simoncelli, Andrea Dovizioso and former champion Valentino Rossi were lined up from fifth to seventh.
Rossi's performance offered Ducati some hope, after he had initially struggled in the session, before finishing 1.033 behind Lorenzo.
The Italian had only managed the 11th-best time after yesterday's free practice but snuck onto the third row along with his fellow Ducatis of Hector Barbera and Nicky Hayden.
Great Britain's Cal Crutchlow rounded out the top-10 on his Monster Yamaha.

The Aussie’s gutsy ride not only gave him victory, but put him top of the championship tree after defending champion Jorge Lorenzo (below) crashed.
Second place was claimed by Honda’s Andrea Dovizioso, allowing the Italian to trim the gap to Lorenzo in the overall standings to 15 points.

CASEY STONER defied nightmare conditions to win the British MotoGP and leapfrog defending champion Jorge Lorenzo at the top of the world championship standings.
Honda's Andrea Dovizioso was second, allowing the Italian to trim the gap to Lorenzo in the overall standings to 15 points.
Heavy rain, which left surface water across much of the track, accounted for Honda's Marco Simoncelli skidding out as he applied the brakes on the 10th lap.
After Lorenzo crashed out, Dovizioso finished more than 15 seconds behind Stoner.
