31-man NAMSSA team vies in Asia Supercross

Philippines - A record 31-man NAMSSA Philippine motocross team will be attending the third leg of the 2011 FIM Asia Supercross Championships scheduled on July 15-16 in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia.
The riders from the NAMSSA Philippine motocross team will dispute titles in the MX2 and MX85 against top riders from Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Mongolia, India, Sri Lanka, Iran, Australia, and Singapore.
“We are grateful to HRH King Mizan for agreeing to host this momentous motorcycle sport

event in Kuala Terengganu,” said Carapiet. “We believe that this event could serve as a catalyst for bigger things for Asian motorcycle sports in the near future and possible bilateral sports agreements between Malaysia and the philipin he added.
The races will be covered by a UK-based television production outfit and telecast to a potential 500 million global audience over the ESPN and Star Sports networks. The Philippine contingent is the biggest ever national delegation to take part in an international motorcycle sports event held abroad since 2005.
The Philippine motocross team will be fielding Kenneth San Andres, Jolet Jao, siblings Migi and Miko Chadwick Garcia, Jean Erick Mitra, Zeraj Omar Aman, Cheaster Hinayo, Mark Anthony Gonzales, Norman Moreno and Abdulsamie Kallahal in the MX2 division. Brothers Ralph and Christian Ramento, Radzie Kallahal, Mark Reggie Flores and Gabriel Symon Macaso will be carrying the tri-color in the MX85 category.
